Rec: Crossed Wires by RileyCr

HS Anniversary Banner
DC Universe- Superbat BannerTitle: Crossed Wires
Author: RileyCr
Canon: DC Universe
Pairing: Clark Kent/Bruce Wayne
Rating: Teen [PG]
Word Count: 1,962
Summary: When Bruce shows up at the farm with a lead-lined box Clark jumps to all the wrong conclusions.

Recommendation: I went looking for anniversary stories and the amount of sap was just too much for me to stomach. So I started poking around for proposal stories and this was suitably ridiculous and wonderful to fit the bill. (Celebrating my fifth anniversary!!)

Rec: Bylines and Bracelets (Or How Lois Lane Fell in Love with Diana of Themyscira) by dreiser

Femslash Friday BannerDC Universe- Wonderlois BannerTitle: Bylines and Bracelets (Or How Lois Lane Fell in Love with Diana of Themyscira)
Author: dreiser
Canon: DC Universe
Pairing: Diana Prince/Lois Lane
Rating: Mature [R]
Word Count: 24,824
Summary: Lois Lane never believed in love at first sight but that was before Metropolis gained a Wonder Woman.

Recommendation: I have to say that I like Lois with Wonder Woman even more than Superman. Lois as a clever, strong-willed, and driven person is an excellent foil for any superpowered individual but with Diana the relationship starts out far more open than with her male counterpart. Diana is always honest about who she is, what she’s there for and I think that is good for Lois. It was interesting to realize that Diana, when it comes to modern everyday stuff, is more of an alien than Clark who grew up in rural Kansas, so Lois acts as a guide for all things modern.

Rec: Most Dangerous Game by Mikimoo

DC Universe- Jaydick BannerTitle: Most Dangerous Game
Author: Mikimoo
Canon: DC Universe
Pairing: Dick Grayson/Jason Todd
Rating: Mature [R]
Word Count: 5,829
Summary: Dick is missing and Jason sets out to find him – and ends up running for his life.

Recommendation: Jeez, I’m pretty sure I saw a Criminal Minds episode like this, only having Bat-training has got to be good for something like this.

Rec: An Appropriate Language by the_mythologist

DC Universe- Jaydick BannerTitle: An Appropriate Language
Author: the_mythologist
Canon: DC Universe
Pairing: Dick Grayson/Jason Todd
Rating: Mature [R]
Word Count: 23,879
Summary: Dick and Jason finally learn to communicate, and Tim gets an education.

Recommendation: Hot and sensuous, a run in with sex pollen that doesn’t lead to sex but still has lasting consequences. Jason tries to be a good guy (sort of), Dick loses his mind (over Jay), Babs is way too Bat and Tim gets one hell of an education.

Rec: The Adventures of Little Mouse and Murder Boy by Mikimoo

DC Universe- Jaydick BannerTitle: The Adventures of Little Mouse and Murder Boy
Author: Mikimoo
Canon: DC Universe
Pairing: Dick Grayson/Jason Todd
Rating: Mature [R]
Word Count: 13,724
Summary: The Court of Owls has sentenced The Red Hood to die. Jason is not very keen on that plan, and surprisingly, nor is his would-be assassin.

Recommendation: This is not the first story I’ve read that Dick ends up as the Talon, but I think it’s my favorite because this Dick is too stubborn to be fully under the control of the court. Even before Jason captured him he had his own agenda (being a creepy stalker, but an agenda).
