Rec: Still Two Fools by Kantayra

Smallville- Clex Banner
Title: Still Two Fools
Author: Kantayra
Canon: Smallville/DC Universe
Pairing: Clark Kent/Lex Luthor
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 25,463
Summary: Clark and Mercy team up to save Lex from his real arch-nemesis: marriage.

Recommendation: This is the crackiest crack ever. First we’ve got Clark and Mercy teaming up. Then we’ve got alien larvae that can’t be laid out of wedlock. And finally Lex is marrying a blonde. Seriously, not right. We also have Clark being oblivious, Lex making bad marital decisions and Mercy kicking ass, but all of those things are standard operating procedure.

Rating: Mature [R]
Word Count: 4,496
Summary: Adult Clark has a genius!kink—his therapist says it’s because of his teenage acquaintance with Lex, which he himself thinks is nonsense.

Recommendation: I think super!obliviousness might also be one of Clark’s powers.

Rec: Absent Limbs by tasabian

Smallville- Clex Banner
Title: Absent Limbs
Author: tasabian
Canon: Smallville/DC Universe
Pairing: Clark Kent/Lex Luthor
Rating: Explicit [NC-17]
Word Count: 9,442
Summary: Lex is taken hostage by alien invaders; Clark and the Justice League work together to rescue him.

Recommendation: Okay, so there was a little more body horror in this one then I’m usually okay with, but I just reminded myself that it actually ended up close to comics canon and Lex and Clark use it as a catalyst to protect each other even though technically they are still enemies. It also acts as a really good motivator for the rest of the Justice League.
