Recommendation: Oh man, I’m feeling all nostalgic over Spander. I get that way off and on, though I have to admit to being a little thrown by how long ago this was on. Crap, I feel old. Funnily enough, I had not read this one until recently despite it being, to my knowledge, one of the old standbys. If you don’t read it for any other reason, you need to read it for the friendship between Xander and Cordy. They are the very best bitchy gay best friends and all of their interactions sparkle. The inclusion of Giles and Ethan as mentors was really good too.
