Recommendation: Oh man, I love this so much. It’s climbed swiftly up the latter of my favorite Spander stories of all time. I remember cringing at what an ass Andrew made of himself during his appearance on Angel, but I love the thought of that not being him and that he was equally embarrassed at his performance. I love the thought of Xander going to LA determined to extend his hand in friendship to Spike and ending up with so much more. I love Xander and Andrew being geeky BFFs and I love that everyone’s ending got to be happier than in the show. Top marks all around.
