The fanfiction reading challenge hosted by Carrie @ Cat on the Bookshelf is now complete, all that remains is to look back on my reading for this month which I will admit kind of fell off a cliff.
At the beginning of the month, the news came down from on high that Tumblr was doing away with all NSFW content on their site (but not, ya’know dealing with the heavy white supremacist presence or the porn bots, but whatever). While my blog was a fanfiction recommendation blog an unlikely to be targeted the smarmy, condescending notice sent out really stuck in my craw. As a result, I spent much of the middle part of the month (that wasn’t taken up with holiday doings) finding myself a new fandom home on Dreamwidth. I’ve been having a wonderful time and many of the stories I read in the latter part of the month were recommended to me there. 🙂
